Bronx brute who bashed man with glass bottle and beat him up at bodega still at large: cops

Detectives in the Bronx are on the hunt for a suspect who bashed a man with a glass bottle and beat him up outside a bodega earlier this month. According to police sources, it all unfolded at around 9:30 a.m. on Oct. 3 at the El Siri Deli, located at 896 Home St. in Crotona Park East. Based on an investigation, police learned that the victim, a 39-year-old man, was on his cellphone and about to enter the establishment when he got into an argument with the brute. It is not believed that the pair knew each other prior to the dispute. Things escalated from verbal to physical when the perpetrator used a glass bottle he was holding in a brown paper bag to bash the 39-year-old across his face. But he was not done there. Cops say he then rained down punches and kicks, leaving the victim a bloody mess. Officers from the 42nd Precinct responded to the incident. The victim suffered lacerations to his face and neck, and was rushed to Lincoln Hospital for treatment of his injuries. He was lis
